Rebuilt my engine---put in a new throw out bearing and disk and now I have to much free play---clevis all the adusted In.
1--old plate and flywheel ---nothing adjusted
2- new disk--in correctly
3--new throw out bearing and carriage---same as old one
4--same fork , pivot ball,cable and clevis
5- engine slid right into the tranny---bell housing tight up to block
6--clutch cross shaft in correctly--prev question

What did I do wrong?
To much freeplay!!

So are you saying after you've depressed the clutch pedal it's 1.25" of free travel you still have this much space between the front of the release bearing and the clutch release arms?
Did you have the machinist reface your flywheel......and did he happen to mention how much he took off?
