My oil pump gasket is seeping between the pupm and the block. I have a couple questions.
1- Whats the best place to get the gasket from, I cant seem to find one.
2- What issue's will I have with the distributor, if any?
3- Any tips or tricks?
Thanks
Casey

You'll need to shop the jeep vendors for the gasket. There were several different pumps used. You may need to buy some thin composition gasket paper and cut your own.
The engine TM explains in great detail how to align the pump, cam and distributor shaft correctly.
The safest approach is to get #1 piston TDC on compression and then back it up until the 5 deg BTDC mark is lined up. Remove the distributor cap and mark the rotor posirion relative to the base of the distributor housing. Have an assistant hole the distributor shaft tight so it cannot turn. Now pull the pump being careful not to move the gear. Make a match mark on the pump body aligned with the offset flat of the shaft or between the gear and shaft housing. Before re-installing the pump have an assistant hold the distributor rotor still. Now slip the pump with gasket slowly into position.
