Which way around for exhaust manifold gaskets

Hi - I could do with a quick answer if anyone can advise, just putting exhaust manifold on my M38 A1, I've got new maniflold gaskets and the no 1 and no 4 cylinder gaskets have a little shoulder which should either locate into the head or into the manifold - which way around should it be? Thanks

Hi Russell,

The ORD 9 SNLG-758 shows the shoulder or flange going into the head.
