Started working on the wiring of a 1951 M38 that I just bought. Bubba had the instrument panel bolted in - the half-turn screws were missing. Bought another panel that has the half-turn screws. Problem - when I removed the old panel the holes in the dash at the four corners where the panel mounts are about 3/4" in diameter which is way too big for the half-turn screws. The holes do not appear to have been drilled out. Does something go in these large holes to allow the half-turn screws to work? Hope this makes sense - Sonny

There are snap-in nut plates that go in the holes. Why don't you go to our downloads page and download your copy of the Parts Manual. The parts are all listed there. You want the ORD 9 SNL G-740
