DOUGLAS CONNECTORS ON M-38

Post by RICKG »

I HAVE A RELATIVELY NEW M-38 WATERPROOF WIRING HARNESS WITH DOUGLAS CONNECTORS. THE RUBBER GROMMETS ARE ALREADY DRIED/CRACKED AND FALLING APART-I KNOW IT'LL LEAD TO A SHORT CIRCUIT SOON. ANY ADVICE ON HOW TO KEEP THE RUBBER SUPPLE?? THX, RICK

Assemble them with the electro-insulation greases available on the market now. Looks just like the gooey stuff you find in most modern car's electrical connectors and lamp sockets.
