Hood number information

Post by jeeptj1 »

So if I can't find alot of info about my m38 and I would still like to put the hood numbers on such as U.S.A and numbers, is there some etiquette on how to choose numbers. thanks john jr

Yes, use the 3 or 4 digit prefix that is appropriate for the approximate date of your vehicle then use the last 4 or 5 digits of the jeep's serial. What is you jeep's serial?

2090XXXX would be the hood number range for that serial.

so 20902451 or 20962451 would work.

Using these choices will assure that in the future any researcher recording data will notice that the number was probably contrived since the serial number is present and obvious.

I use a couple of EE-8 phones. One of them came
with a German instruction book inside. I hook them
together at displays and let the kids ring each other,
but I have yet to get them to carry voice. Kids like
them anyhoo.

Manuals are available to look at on the Internet.
