My NOS one is all black (even the letters), and the pre cleaner is 2330 olive drab green with the fording sticker attached.

The oil bath air cleaner can be filled with the same oil as recommended for the engine.

air cleaner

From the factory, references have reported the air cleaners were semi gloss black with yellow raised letters.
When I stripped mine there were areas of copper near the welds.

You can reproduce te yellow raised letters by painting your strpped AC with yellow first. Then coat the entire AC in SG black. After drying use a small sanding block and 600 paper to remove the black and reveal the yellow of the letters. This process takes some patience.
