Thanks Wes and Ryan, for your kindness in receiving me in such a prestigious site, such as Willys M.

I can not write in English, and I am using a translator, therefore, We apologize for any "crazy" word has no meaning in the context of the idea that trying to convey.

My name is Jose Angel, I'm Spanish, I have 57 years of age, and I live in Venezuela, where there are not many military Willys, but I suffer a short illness: I am passionate about the Willys, and particularly the M38 model.

Unfortunately not I own a real M38, but a CJ3A 1950, therefore I can not fill the database to which you refer, Wes, sorry.
My project is to convert my CJ3A in M38, as well as those who were inspired when they came up with the M38.
I never had the good fortune to see one up close, and all the information I have on that vehicle, is based on literature and photographs on the Internet.
However, my project is still standing, and already at the stage that I am today, I need mainly are photographs of parts, and dimensioned drawings or diagrams, where you can get the evidence to change my vehicle.
I explain this because from now on, my participation in the forum, will look like a parasite that information just ask me, without feeding the forum with my knowledge ... and I apologize for this.
I will try my living here, go slowly becoming from "parasitic" to "symbiotic", which can also provide experiences that get in my project.
I built some parts, which soon will post my drawings at your disposal.

A big hello to all members ...

But do not go too far, I need your help.

Thanks Rick, I am not sorry for having a CJ3A, but yes for no have a M38,
If I had not started this project, perhaps we would not be talking you and me in this site.

I'm at the stage of manufacture of parts and collection of original pieces, and having had a long learning period. (Still I need to learn more)
When the vehicle takes shape, no doubt i publish photos.
For now, I can only post some parts finished. 8)

Ryan's M38 book is a great guide to the M38. It can be purchasd from several of the parts vendors. Peter DeBella is one.
