Guys are there two rubber mounts that the radator sits on in the m-38 frame, or are they just the flat body mount pads.
The ones that i am talking about are the two tabs on the front cross bar that the rad mounts on, they seem to be rather large to just put a washer and nut on.
Thanks Jason

Look closely at your ORD 9 SNL G-740 M38 parts manual on page 92.
You'll see the two rubber pads, two large washers and two nuts that fasten the two bottom radiator mounting studs to the two tabs on the front cross member. Then you'll also see the two "Z" type bars that connect the small vertical pockets on each side low of the radiator to the front engine mount pads. Then in the top of the illustration you'll see the long rod that bolts to the firewall and to the tab on the top of the radiator.
If you don't have your ORD 9 then download it free in PDF from our "Downloads" page.

I'm missing the "ROD, brace" 7701326/WO-A1217 (the long rod from cowl to radiator) on my M38. It looks like something that would be fairly easy to make myself from 5/16" stock, but I don't have anything for a pattern. Does anyone have dimensions or a sketch of this part that would tell me where to put the bends? Is it straight except for the 90 degree bend at the end and one bend where it clears the crossover tube? We don't have a real crossover tube yet, so I can't use that as a guide.
