fuel tank

Post by 11cgrunt »

on my 51 m38, the fuel tank has 2 fittings on top. which one is for the carb. and what is the other one for. I dont have a manual so im working off minimal knowledge. Or are there down loads for the fuel system?

the other fitting is for the vent line going to the air breather for deep water fording, if you dont install the line get a screw on vent fitting off an m38a1 tank.

Yes it is. I really need to buy that green m38 book. But $60+ is too pricey.

Ive posted on the wanted section. To see if anyone want to trade some parts for a book. I have the all American wonder volumes, They proved invaluable. I do need to get the book, But have other priorities.
