I was wondering if anyone has any part number for things like wheel bearings, and rubber brake lines , shocks stuff like that, that can be picked up at places like napa and the like?
Thanks again Jason

For the M38, I use the CJ3A as my vehicle when buying from non-specialty suppliers. This works pretty well for the chassis as nearly all the parts are the same. The trick is knowing which parts are different. For that, my sources are the M38 Reference Guide, the manuals, this forum, and lots of Google searching.

I do have all the Timken/National numbers for the axle bearings and seals, but only in hardcopy form. I'll see if I can get the spreadsheet from my dad. All the numbers are available online, but having it all on one sheet is handy.

A good starting point is Portrayal Press. Order Spence's "Army Vehicle Parts Guide" which is just what you are asking for.

I also use my ORD 9's as repositories for civvy part numbers and write them in right next to their military numbers.
