light color in m38a1

Hi,
Somebody know wich is the right color of the dashboard light?

Red glass - look in the "Downloads" section of this website, Ord 9 SNL G758 (parts list for the M38A1), page 154. Both my M38 and M38A1 have the red glass lens for dash lights. Red was used because red light does not have as much effect on your night vision as white light and if you are travelling at night in a tactical military vehicle being able to see can be important!
