Whats the purpose of them? Mine doesnt have them.
parts 7372803/4.
They seem simple enough to fabricate up. From what I gather, they are made from 7/16 rod with 2 bends and a hole on one end to receive a cotter pin at the engine mount side along with a washer.
With that, does anyone have a good picture?

Great Pics, thanks Rick. Ya I'll make me some up. Not that I will ever be pulling the whole plant but they will be there.

Be aware that they're not both the same length due to the
offset of the motor mounts, the 1 on the battery side being
the longer of the 2.

Yep, I'll custom make them to fit each side.

I wish I had less than that but on the contrary, I have many many days. That would be great, take your time. Thanks Jim.

Ha, ha, I know exactly what you mean!

I'll get you some sketches. As you can see from Rick's photos, the bends are not both in the same plane, so I'll have to measure those angles as well as the lengths.

I finally got around to making these, they obviously weren't a necessity to get the Jeep and running, just something else to spend my time on for this hobby.
Jim sent me some great CAD drawings, as PDF's, of these. I can't say they are exactly duplicated from his files, since I don't have the tools to bend .438 (7/16") rod. Rod was cut halfway thru, bent and welded.
I didn't take any pics of them installed, not much to see once they are in. Functional yes, will they ever be utilized, most likely never.
