Hi, guys! I hope someone can help me out on this one, I'm putting in a clutch,pres. plate, throwout bearing in my 52 3a. as i was putting the pressure plate back on the flywheel i accidentally broke one of the six bolts that hold it on, i live in a small town and nobody seems to have the right one , i even called w/o and they don't have any either. anyone know wherei can get one or all six? THANKS!

If one broke I'd suggest getting all 6 as the others are probably stretched as well.

I had a hard time finding the correct bolts but I wanted to share this for other peoples future needs who might stumble across this topic. ~ Matt

Its hard to see in my picture but these special bolts have a "shoulder" and are there to ensure the pressure plate is centered. If you take a look at your flywheel holes you will see that the threads do not come all the way to the top for that reason.

People have and continue to use regular bolts which work.... but theirs always a chance you might get a vibration.

5/16NC X 1-1/16, I have heard 1 inch long work. You will need 5/16 lock washers also.

To answer your question I believe they are grade 5. I'm sure someone here can confirm that.

I just want to make it clear that I am not criticizing anyone's choice on hardware. I always say it's your jeep so you need to decide what you think is best.

We use studs instead of bolts to avoid this issue. Not original but very functional. Same goes for the cylinder head.
