Pedal hits steering shaft

Something about this doesn't seem right to me. Shouldn't the steering shaft tube be centered between the pedals? If there is any side load to the brake pedal when it is depressed, it will hit the shaft. I don't see anything that is mounted wrong. Can someone measure the distance between the floor holes where the pedals go thru? My tub is not together to measure.
Thanks,
Brett

About 5min after posting I think I figured it out. The steering assembly was mounted at a low angle. I loosened the bolts and turned it up.

When you get ready to drop the tub back on you might want
to loosen the bolts again and lower the steering shaft for a little
extra clearance. When you've aligned your tub then pull the steering
back up till you've found the best angle for the attachment to the
underside of the dash. Tighten er back up and she's good to go..
worked for me last week.
