Hi Guys,
I have another M38 A1 project to restore and have most parts located . The main problem I have is with the Department of Vehicle Licencing in the UK. To obtain an age related registration number in the UK, I have to provide evidence regarding the year of manufacture, this was not a problem with my first US built A1, as I found all the information I required on the M38A1 site and DVLA accepted it.
This one is a NEKAF A1 and I have not been able to find any build dates to refer to. Any advise will be gratefully accepted as usual.

Motor No. MD 111651

Willys Patent Plate on right hand side fender, behind passenger seat,
Serial number:- 57144 -- 13470 R

You have to become a member and it is in Dutch.
You can find a register here. It is under files, registers.
It looks like your Nekaf is from 1956

As you suggested Ed, the register confirms it was built in 1956, I have printed off the relevant pages and have contacted the DVLA to start the registration procedure.

Dear all,

According to my Nekaf-records MD13470 is from 1956 and had a military license plate starting with KP and probably KP-91-##.

MD13467 1956 KP-91-03
MD13470 1956 KP-**-**
MD13474 1956 KP-91-05
