Need some help guys.

1.) Are the CJ5 windshield frame inside dimensions the same as for the M38A1? Meaning, could you install the two piece glass with the center divider in a CJ5 frame? Did they ever build any M38A1's with a one-piece windshield?

2.) What is the color of the headlight HIGH BEAM indicator light on the instrument panel?

Thanks!

1-The M38A1 and 1955 thru 1966 CJ5 use the same size total windshield glass opening.

2-The Cj5 or M38A1?

The M38A1 - I have the instrument panel lights but may need to fabricate a high beam light.

I thought you had a CJ5 that you were building as a M38A1?

I have a 1952 M38A1 Body and other items from a untitled parts jeep mounted on a 62 CJ5 frame. The windshield and grill are from the CJ5. The purists among you will cringe but I hope the end result does justice to the M38A1 design.

The high beam indicator light is red on my M38A1, just like the instrument panel lights, they all have red lenses.
