Blindnuts?

I don't know what they are called but does anyone know if there is a vendor that sales these?

Tab weld nuts with offset hole are shown near the bottom of the page. Your local hardware store or welding suppliers should be able to get them, or something similar.

Thanks Owen, that gives me some direction now. I might just get lazy and put regular nuts on. I'm not running an assembly line

They are a form of a weld nut that is spot welded. You can get the same nut, brand new from McMaster-Carr. These things they never stopped making!

McMaster Carr's part # 94579A400. Good price to. 50 for $7.50. Just wish I had a spot welder

Check out local tool rentals, they often have them.
