Body to frame Mounting re M38

I have prepared my frame to use it as a jig when I start my body work. I have the body back from the having it stripped etc. I have been looking in the Ord9 for the M38 to determine body mounting bolts etc. that I need to purchase. I have seen elsewhere on this site that the frame mounts are numbered, starting at the front and moving to the rear.
Where is this information noted. I have not found the mounting holes on the diagrams of the frame numbered in the Ord 9 or in the TM's 1804A, B or 8012
Any help/education in the use of the manuals would be appreciated.

I replaced hat channels and the rear floot panel (between the rear whell wells) on my M-38. I did not use my frame as a jig. I guess I got lucky because my body and frame holes line up very well. There are only two holes which are off slightlyl. As to those, I will have to enlongate the holes on the frame tabs with a die grinder. I think you are smart to jig everything up on your frame. I wish I had done that. In any event, I have not seen anything about numbered holes in body corresponding to numberd holes in frame.
My .02 worth.

Bretto,
Thank you, I knew I had seen it but couldn't find it.

Geez, I wish I had found this site before I started rebuilding my jeep.

Now you can see why Ryan and I started this web site! The G503 is a great site but it's beginnings were the WWII MB and GPW and the main thrust of all it's data bases and files are still the WWII MB and GPW. Here we store data and photos of post WWII Willys/Kaiser military jeeps built from 1950 thru 1968 and it remains to this day our main thrust.
