I got my new cowl box from John today. Outstanding quality by the way. Question though, its the rear lip supposed to be inside the box on the fire wall side?

Yes, it is supposed to be that way. No room for it to fit outside against the firewall.

Thanks John. I thought that was the case after I fitted it in place. Is that 14G steel. Its stout.
