How close are the Gillespie rattle can paint colors to the gallon equivalent? I've been painting various smaller parts with rattle cans and will paint the body and frame with a spraygun. Do they match up or is this going to be a lesson learned?
thanks!

I found that the rat cans were a little glossier but not much. Depends on how it and how you mix yours and how its applied. The color is the same.

I'm currently painting all the little parts that I seem to keep finding. I painted my body last year and added hardener to the paint. The rattle cans are very close to the same color - hardener adds just a little more gloss to the paint, but as the name implies, the finish is harder.

I've been using 33070 which is the lusterluss type. They match perfect. Big stuff = gallons, bolts and small stuff = rattle can. Very happy with the results. Makes runs and dents look professional
