Distributor

I have a 1951 M38, 6 volt. Am I correct that the point gap should be .020"

The point gap is not a function of voltage. It determines geographically when the spark occurs during distributor rotation. All the Mil M jeeps and CJ L134's and F134's use a gap of 0.020.
