M170 tires

So I blew it but I'm wondering how bad is it. I bought NDT tires for my M170 early on when I started my resto and didn't really give it much thought as I got a good price and thought either ndt or ndcc were fine. Now the more I read on this th more it seems this is a big mistake. I think my M170 is about as factory as it could be but I have ndt tires. Opinions? Am I out of any hope for factory class or motor pool class? What does it really take to be factory class? There are no sources for goodrich or goodyear ndcc tires anyway so is the wrong brand less an evil than wrong brand and ndt?

Factory means NDCC. No way around it. I assume you bought them in 7.00-16 so the MB/GPW guys won't be looking for them. Advertise the NDT's on the CJ page and you should have no problem selling them. They are noisier and grab more in turns.

If you are not in a big hurry for tires it looks like Goodyear may soon be coming out with a new NDCC in 7.00-16.

Thanks. I'm in no hurry so I guess I'll wait. I'll use the NDT on the other M170 so it won't be a total disaster.
