M170 Top rod supports

I need information and pictures if anyone has it.
I'm trying to make my top support rods. I can't find any information on M170's so I was going to copy M38A1 rod designs and cut and form to fit based on the weebee webbing pictures. In the parts manual it says I need 4 retainer pins and chains. Parts manual snapshot below. If I use the design from wee bee ( I have the outer hole rod support bracket same as the M38a1) I should need ony two chains and pins. I have 3 windshields and all have the same rod support bracket. So I'm thinking I need to make my rods with a 90° bend on each end with a chain and some sort of pin design. I haven't been able to find a close up pic of the M38A1 version so to start that will really help. Then I am unsure if I should just follow the M38A1 design (outer hole design http://odcloth.com/rodwork.html) and use two pins or if I should go custom 4 pins similar to the thru hole design. Closeup pics of rod pins and chains installed on the rods would be very helpful.
