Joe grunt on the street will never see one of those lamps until after he pays the vendor's markup.

I did a little net cruise. They are retailing right now on several sites for $35 to $55 dollars each. So using an average of $45 I see that the 1600 lamps can be resold by a vendor for $72,000.00. On average over the last 10 years uncle paid $15.95 a piece for these lamps. Now that's about $25,500 acquisition total cost for uncle and $72,000 current retail means it will be very interesting to see where the bid goes.

If you see about 10% of original uncle acquisition cost being garnered by GovLiq that means they'll go for $2500 to $3000 earning an enterprising vendor somewhere around $60,000 profit after considering all costs associated with their purchase, transportation, storage and handling.
