Hood Cutout Screw Size

Hi, everyone Happy Holidays. I am replacing the cut out on my M38 hood. What size screws are required for the cut out to be put back on?

Page 287 of the ORD-9:

No. 10 x 3/8" round head machine screw, with corresponding hex nut & external-tooth lock washer.

the 7th photo (the hood) has the remains of one of the screws still in it. The thread had snapped off long ago; only the slotted head remained, held in place by old paint.
