Did the M38A1 have radiator support rods?

Those rods from the firewall to the top of the radiator? I have the early 1952 with the swing out grille

The idea of the early M38A1 was to have the hinged grill so if you wanted to remove the power plant you could just unbolt the grill and the engine and pull it out. Easier said than done, so later they just went with the fixed grille and the support rods. So you have an early M38A1.
