If you had a modern engine in your Dodge I would say try it. With the stock 230 flathead you will have a tough go of it. The Dodge 230 is a very low volume breathing engine. Small intake and exhaust ports. A turbo supercharger moves a large volume of air and requires a fairly large volume of exhaust to drive it. Since there are no components ready made and available to provide the necessary modified operation IE head, low comp pistons, large exhaust and intake manifolds you will have a tremendous amount of improvised fabrication work to do.

If you want to improve the M37's road performance (get her to run faster than 50 MPH) then you need a modern Dodge V8 or a Cummins 4BT along with a modern transfer case that can handle the higher internal rotational speeds and a pair of Dana 60's would be nice as well.

Those ol Dodge flatheads are famous for throwing rods from the factory.....I definately wouldnt recommend any attempt to make one into a race engine.
