Headlamp gasket

Post by Bretto »

Does anyone know of substitute or if anyone carries the gasket material for part B 7375024. I can't say what I have is stock or not. Mine almost looks like weatherstripping but it has a lip that went over the front edge of ring C. The one pictured almost looks like its just flat.

While we're asking about headlight gaskets...anyone have a source for the one that goes between the bucket assembly and the grill???

Mine have the lip too, with what seems to be a wire ring inside the rubber. The overspray of Strata Blue suggest that these could be original. Of course, they're too far gone to be reused. This vendor is advertising them for the princely sum of $9.95 each:

The last time I bought the sealing ring for the door and the gasket for the bucket they were a lot cheaper than $9.00 from Pete Debella.

Also everything in that illustration is common to all the M series trucks up through the 10 tons. So don't limit your shopping to only jeep parts dealers.

does part (b) gasket go with part (a) or part (c)? and how is it position on either part?

i think it goes on part a with the wire clips holding it in place, but i cant figure out the correct way it goes on. could anyone post a detailed pic of this gasket and how it's mounted?

any help would be much appriciated. thxs

The gasket B clips to part A (door) then C (ring) goes thru both
