Hey Wes-is that last footman loop, the one out of site that binds the ax handle, mounted on the very lip of the wheel well?

And also, am I correct in seeing that there are 3 straps involved? John at Midwest military doesn't have them, so I need to measure the dimensions and try to find another source

The two straps mounted diagonally from the top edge of the tub to the inboard edge of the wheel house are not for the axe. They are for storing the canvas top and doors. Get your magnifying glass out and look closely at the photos in your TM 9-8014.

alright, so my assumption is that I need 3 straps in total, right? Two for the cover hold downs, and one for the ax handle? Does anyone happen to know the lengths of the straps I need? Wes?
I talked to John at Midwest Military, and he gave me the number to a lady that makes the straps, but she needs to know what length to make them.
