Does anyone happen to have an computer file copy of all the data plates? I saw a process of how to make some involving etching and thought I might have a go at it when the time come to needing them.

I don`t have the file copy but I bought the new brass dash data plates about 2 or 3 yrs ago from Willys Overland Motors on Reynolds Rd in Toledo, Oh for $50.00 . Got everything except the one for the fording valve. Jim

I like your thought process Bretto - too much like me! I'd rather spend days doing stuff over and over, or spend twice as much doing things over and over(instead of paying somebody to do it right the first time) just to say I did it!

Well guys then just to say "I did it" why not start gathering as many photos of data plates as you can find? Asking one of us to turn over the file we gathered over the last 20 years for free is just like buying new data plates! Right?

You can start your new quest by simply reviewing the contents of all the photo albums on our photo album page. Also do not forget all the illustrated data plates in your manuals.

This is a thing we used to call in the 50's and 60's "Let your fingers do the walking" which was followed by an advertisement for the new style Yellow Pages that we are all familiar with today.

I don't know anything about etching - what exactly are you looking for Bretto? A high quality scan of the plates to make a negative with?
