Hi All. This is my first posting here, but likely not the last ;-).
I have just taken out the engine of my 1952 M38. It appers to be a factory replacement engine (RMC 117912). There is a rebuild plate on left side of the engine (see pic). Can anyone tell me what the abbreviations "C.D.M.B." and "A.G.D." mean?

Is this a joke or what?

Why would it be a Joke?
With an approach like that there won't be too many responses.

That engine it would appear is from "Columbia" & was overhauled by the government workshop associated with CDMB

Look @ the way the date is depicted amongst other things!

I think he means the link, it goes to somewhere in Columbia or South America - all in Spanish I think. Looks like advertisements for country living and farming.
Maybe a bad link?

Sorry, I didn't mean to offend anyone, I just did not understand the connection to farming in Colombia.

I think the first item "J.O." means "Job Order", not the date.

I'm located in Sweden, and there is no evidence that the jeep has been in South America.

I appreciate any guesses of course, just that this one was not so easy to understand :-)
