I put new bushings in a distributor awhile back. But I had to take it to someone who could ream them to fit the shaft. It was a little tight after I installed them.

Another thing I had a problem with was the pin n the shaft. It was very hard to drive it out and I ended up having to drill it. I got it close but wasn't exactly centered. I put a new pin in and it worked out ok.

Anyone out there have experience in taking the pin out and installing bushings? What is your method? I have another one for spare that I want to rebuild.

I've played with a lot of them and if they had the original pin or a professionally installed pin I had to drill it out.
