Latest with all the stencils/decals. The bumper markings are from when my father was in Korea. KCZ = Korean Communications Zone, PMP (we think)was Pusan Motor Pool, EFF = Engineer Fire Fighting, 53 = the year he was there. There is a link to a site that has his group and shows bumper markings (he is PFC Reed in the 8075th pictures).

Very nicely done.

A word of caution based on personal experience and observations of many other's personal experiences:

Whenever the hood is down LATCH IT. Otherwise if you plan on not latching leave it up. The hood does not do a single bounce until you hit 45 MPH then it just slams up and shatters both windshields.

Good point Wes.
I have another "garage rule" that whenever I forget I pay for. When ever I hook up my trailer, hook up everything (wires, chains, light cord) and RAISE THE TRAILER JACK ALL THE WAY UP. Never fails that if I'm simply loading 4 wheelers or the Jeep and I just need the truck to hold the trailer down, that I will pull forward and bend that stinking jack. Or the chains/wire connector will fall and catch on something.
Latch the hood will be added to my mental list of garage rules.

"garage rules" can keep you out of a lot of trouble. do it
all the way and the same way every time. i call it my
"pre-flight inspection". i'm always switching from my
6 mule gooseneck to the 4 horse rig and pre-flight it every time.
you only gotta forget something 1 time to have a really bad day..

Your M-170 is SWEET, man..

Thanks Jim. I was soooo nervous at the Elvis thing. It was the first time that anyone had seen it out of my yard and the first time I took it on a trailer anywhere. First time anyone in the Arkansas MVPA had seen it. After it was over I drove it around Chaffee on its first drive of any distance
