6 v horn in a 12 v world

6 v horn in a 12 v world
Theoretically, I should be able to run a 6V horn off of 12V if I were to drop the right resistor in series with it right?

Yes. But the resistor size is relative to the amperage draw. And you'll have to play with resistor size a bit to get the right sound.
