I have a M38 1950, with 24V electric, and most details orig.
Bur carburettor is from CJ-2A 1947.
My problem is unstable ideling.
Some days ideling is perfect,
next day no idle.
Other days varying idle.
Where shall I look/do to undersand what to do?
please help!

In addition to John's suggestions above: Check throttle shaft for looseness. When the holes in the throttle body wear a lot you get an uneven idle that will clear up a bit when the hole gets dirty enough but when a period of high vacuum occurs and sucks the dirt out then the rough idle is back.
