I purchased this sight unseen from an acquaintance who told me it was from a M38A1. Later, when I tried to fit it, I discovered that it was too narrow for the back of my Jeep. The seat is about 31.5 inches wide while the M38A1 is closer to three feet. Fortunately, I quickly found a correct seat so I have no need for this one. That said, I should probably know what it is before I try to sell it

The MB seat is narrower than the M38/M38A1 seat but mounts in the same fashion. The M151 rear seat looks entirely different and mounts differently.

Looks to be an MB seat. That plate on the left side in your second photo looks like the tire pump bracket that got flattened.

Maybe the rear seat occupant ate too many rations.

The Ford GPW seat is constructed slightly differently, btw. Your seat will still fit either an MB or GPW though.......
