Hey Guys, I just wanted to thank you guys for introducing me to electrolysis. Here is a picture of before and after my project. ALthough not as clean as bretto's, but I'm still very impressed with the results!
Check out my album as I can't figure out how to load the pictures directly to this message to show results.

Bretto, just out of curiosity, how did you get yours SO clean?

Looks great! I just used a stiff wire brush to finish them off. How long did you cook them?

I honestly had my charger set up wrong and had it cooking for about 15 hours until I looked at it again this morning before work and went from 2 amps to 6 amps. It cooked for 11 hours while I was at work, and then I cleaned it off right after work.
During those hours while it was on 2 amps, it looked nothing like any pictures that I looked at before. THere was no nasty goop on top of my bucket or anything, but when I took it out after work, I took a wire brush to it and it cleaned up as pictured. Granted, I didn't scrub it forever, but a good scrubbing and rinsing a few times and that was the end result. I was excited because I found numbers on them which I had no idea were there. Pretty exciting to me!

Nice! It does do a good job. I didn't use my tank a lot on my 'a1 - used it mainly on my Farmall Cub resto, but it made life much easier! Seems like I was using like 10A on my 150A charger/starter.
