M38A1 Date of Production Estimate request

I have an early M38A1 with the fender data plate MD 20035. Early short bumper with no crank hole, early grill, early fenders, early style battery box cover, etc. Wes, would this be 1952 production? I'm trying to get the title straightened out. Thanks.
