ys carburator

Hi all
My name is arie, I just joined the forum. I am from Israel. you are most welcome to see some of the pcI posted-http://flic.kr/ps/2f5vKe

I just instaled a rebult a crter ys in my jeep. iy start up with no problem, but I can not acceleraet it. it chocked.
any ideas??

Make sure you have the correct springs installed in the two vacuum pots and make sure you have each spring on the correct side of the diaphragms. The illustration in the TM 9-1826A is incorrect.

Here is a corrected illustration where I have moved spring "BB" to it's correct location.

Also make sure the diaphragms are in good condition. The old material in old NOS diaphragms does not last long in modern unleaded fuels.
