Steering column bearing clip

Can someone tell me how to remove this clip without bending or breaking it? Also the bearing seems to be in good shape but I can spin it with my finger, is this O.K. Sorry for the blurry photo. Thanks.

Take a small screwdriver and hammer and tap around the bearing circumference towards you at the column edge. The whole assembly will come out.It may be easier to replace with a new bearing,just bought one from Debella for $20. Lube it up good with light grease or motor oil,then tap it back in.
