I have some steering wheel slop in my steering. I know it needs to be looked at... the front end appears at initial glance tight.

My question is will a steering column frrom a M-38A1 work in the M-38... I have one here that I can use temporarily till I can get mine rebuilt...

They fit and function but the ratio is different. The gearbox is also heavier construction.
