Does anyone have a contact for someone that can rebuild original water pumps?

Just take the pump to your local auto machine shop. Take along a copy of TM9-8015-1 or TM 9-1804A whichever applies and the pertinent details are in there. Shops familiar with antique/classic pumps will know how to upgrade to a modern bearing.
