floor pans

I just picked up a M38 tub. I intend to turn this into a winter project. Without stripping the rust and paint yet I know it will need the normal floor pan, hat channel, lower body side, etc. repairs so I want to start accumulating parts.

It seems like recommendations are split between Classic Enterprise and Midwest Military replacement floor panels and hat channels with the edge going to Midwest for fitment.

Do both vendor's panels come with the holes for the removable floor cover panels pre-drilled?

It's hard to see this feature from their web-site pictures.

-Thanks-

Midwest floor pans are illustrated on his parts page:

Both owners are easy to deal with and offer excellent products.

Our panels are made more accurately for the military version. Our hat channels are also stamped more accurately too. There is a difference, not just price.

just my 2 cents, ive never had a fitting problem with john's product,s. I started restoring my m100 and thought I would save a buck and purchase the floor and end panels from a well known vendor that close his doors. well I have spent the last two weeks trying to fit the panels to the m100. just go with john products if you want it to fit right the first time. michael

To set the ball field level the vendor referred to in the last post is not Classic Enterprises but is Jeep Panels Plus from out east. I've experienced equal accuracy in products from both John at Midwest and Classic Enterprises.

Johns Midwest military floor panels have details not found on the Classic industry panels. Example - the carried over passenger side exhaust bracket indent, weld nuts, drain holes.

I have purchased sheetmetal products from both Midwest Military and Classic Enterprises and both have supplied excellent pieces.
