Salut Michel,

I'm really eager to see your M38 and have a "Pizza on the Hood" (and beer for sure... :D) to christen this new jeep in our group of military vehicles.

Cheers

Salut Guy

I'm also looking forward of show you this M38. I make the second road test this weekend with the new parts replaced (all steering parts with steering box rebuild, suspension shocks, new clucth kit because the clutch disc at paste on the pressure plate and the rivets broken. I'm not too much for the modifications, but I add a steering damper for to be sure not to have the steering wobble. the bracket is easily removed.

I re-built the steering gear on my M38A1 and noticed that the replacement bearings supplied in the kit were a little different than the originals. As long as the bearing pre-load is set correctly, I don't think there will be any problems.
