Squeeky Clutch

Post by Bob_C »

As the title implies, everytime I depress the clutch, I get a squeek. It is not constant, only brief. It is RPM dependent though and it seems to be dependent on the position of the clutch (otherwise how far it is depressed).

If I stop the jeep and depress the clutch, and gun it, itll squeek a little bit.
This indicates to me that my throwout bearing is making this noise.

Is this something I should be concerned about? It doesn't seem like its slipping at all since it is not constant. Is it just "character" or is my throwout bearing going bad (or anything else)?

This only started a few days ago - it has not been around since I started to drive it.

Could something be improperly adjusted too?
