floor drain holes
Can some body give me the location of the floor drain holes and what size My M38 didn t come w them every thing is corret unless the did a $&% of a patch job which I can t see It came w a artic hard top w four screws in the cowl where the gas heater goes The bell housing does not have any provisions for the venting system. There is a fitting on the transfer case and it does have the hole for the hanger bearing and for the bottom plug There is no provision for a screw in seal where the cable enters the bell housing for the clutch thx buzz

In the "Photo Gallery" of this website you can usually find detail pics of most every part of a M38. In particular, Wes K has a photo of a M38 tub showing the front drains: http://www.willysmjeeps.com/v2/modules. ... _photo.php
The holes themselves are 1" in diameter and the front edge of the front holes are about 3 1/2" rearward of the sidewall brace. The back hole on the passenger side is just in front of the toolbox flange.
Your bell housing may be a civilian model - they fit the same but don't have the military features you mentioned.
