My carb runs great, but seems to leak a little fuel at the seals. Will it be OK to just replace the seals,or will opening it up to do this mean I will need to do a full rebuild? Thanks. Shawn

Depends a bit on which gasket or seals are leaking? I don't know of anyone selling a single seal or gasket so you will most likely have to buy an entire kit just for the seal or gasket that is leaking.

Thanks Wes. It is the seals between the
"Bodies" of the carb. I think they are the
Biggest seals in a kit.

That narrows it down to two. The gasket between the air horn and the bowl (Carter 121-138 ORD# 7372514)and the gasket between the bowl and the throttle body (Carter# 121-222 ORD# 8329826).

The air horn to bowl gasket usually shrinks with age and requires an occasional re-tightening of the screws. Fuel leaking there is usually indicative of too high a float setting or a sticking closed float needle valve.
