I went to NAPA today and found they have copper colored steel tubing for vent lines... I know it comes in 3/16" as I saw a coil of it...

This is great for those wanting a factory or full restoration...

Please ask for Nickel-Copper lines and be prepared to spend some money for them... $49 per 25 foot coil...

Hope this helps

How much is just copper tubing of the same size? Just curious.

Never mind
Showing my ignorance in this matter, after posting this, I researched and found the original lines are not copper tubing but copper plated steel. I don't have the vent system so I didn't know. Carry on.

Copper plated steel was factory original for most under-the-hood plumbing but as you can see from the ORD 9's plain copper was the field approved replacement. So plain copper is perfectly OK for motor pool class restos.

For a better price on that tubing, try Sherco.

Looks like that would be http://www.sherco-auto.com/brass.htm. Both that and NAPA look like better pricing than a source I posted earlier, http://www.cunifer.com/, and appears to be the same stuff.
