Here's a start;

And then look in the manual ORD9 SNL G-740, Sept.1955; M38.

Most of the fittings in the M38 fording system are common brass plumbing compression fixtures available at hardware stores or plumbing supply stores. They are not special military parts at all, just common off the shelf hardware. I'm sure when Willys was designing the M38 they also went shopping at the nearest hardware supplier and those same fittings are still available at the same distributors, probably worldwide.

You have to take the sizing description from the ORD 9 supply manual and go to the Weatherhead Fittings page and research the weatherhead part number for each fitting that you need.

The link from Chris to Bob Westerman's original early paper on the M38 vent and fording system is good.

Here is a link with more info and parts list:
http://www.cj3a.info/sibling/m38vent/vent.htm
http://www.cj3a.info/sibling/m38vent/vent2.htm

And his parts data base:
http://www.cj3a.info/sibling/m38vent/vent4.htm

In the column headed:
Fitting type and current Weatherhead part number
You will find the physical description of the fitting and it's Weatherhead part number.

When you know what you need go to "Fittings and adapters" they have a lot of fittings. I ordered some of the of the sizes that are common to have a few spares. The shipping is always high ,so I have a few in my tool box . And the prices are good.

If we must develop a part number specific list for your jeep then you must tell us specifically what parts you are missing or list for us all parts that you already have.

If you have a friend who speaks better english and is more mechanically inclined you can download the lists and photos from the three links I posted and print them and have him review the list after he has seen what parts you have.
